Top Model - Mollie Sue Gondi
Mollie Sue Steenis Gondi - 9th place of America's Next Top Model Cycle 6. The edgy androgynous girl who left too early... too too early !! Damn! It reminds me how i really sad when she's get the boot... Molli Sue is ANTM's first model who is both edgy and has a strong androgynous side. Ms. Gondi is quite prominent among cycle 6 finalists who are known as one of the strongest, most diversity and unique casts from ANTM, yes cycle 6 has names like Danielle, Joanie, Jade, Leslie, Gina, Sara, Nnenna and also Brooke. Although you could say Ms. Gondi started her career in the modeling world late (25 years) but since the beginning Mollie was seen standing out among the cycle 6 models because of her modelesque features, because of her excellent performance, she became a strong contender and was never in the bottom two position until finally she was eliminated in the 6th episode.
So why she get the boot too early? She's out because the judges said that she has cold personality and failure to express her own true persona in the Cover Girl commercial shot... Yeah, Ms. Gondi doesn't have the bubbly personality that CoverGirl might be looking for and it's not the TV personality that the audience likes but with a strong portfolio and great performance week after week, I think she's deserved to get the second chance...
Nor was she a winner, Ms. Gondi managed to prove that she had great potential and was successful as a model... I mean she become an incredibly successful model internationally. She relocated to Paris, France, where she was featured as one of Paris' Top Models in Photo Magazine... She has been featured in many high fashion magaine, like Vogue Nippon, Vogue Italia, Vogue Russia, French Cosmopolitan and Madame Germany. ANTM also appreciates Molli Sue's success by appearing her as a feature model in Top Model in Action at ANTM cycle 11.
Currently Ms Gondi is on hiatus as a model and just gave birth to a cute baby in 2014, which was quite surprising when she walked to show Zana Bayne at New York Fashion Week S/S 2015 and then with her bab ... She's aged beautifully, still amazing and looking fabulous!
