Next Top Model Special : Fashion Week FW 2015 - New York
February... Valentine? Chinese New Year? Yeahh tapi yang terpenting di dunia fashion adalah Fashion Week Fall Winter! Baru saja New York Fashion Week FW (Fall/Winter) 2015/2016 selesai digelar! New York Fashion Week (which was then called "Press Week") sendiri adalah world's first ever organized fashion week yang pertama kali diadakan tahun 1943, dengan maksud untuk menarik perhatian publik dari French Fashion ketika World War II berlangsung, ketika para pelaku fashion industry kesulitan untuk travel ke Paris. Fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert organized an event she called "Press Week" to showcase American designers for fashion journalists, who had previously neglected their innovations. Press Week was a success, and fashion magazines like Vogue, which were normally filled with French designs, increasingly featured American fashion.
New York Fashion Week consists of numerous branded events, including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York and MADE Fashion Week, as well as numerous independent fashion productions around town. Sejak tahun 2009, banyak desainer yang melakukan presentasi dengan skala lebih kecil dan tidak mengadakan runway show dengan alasan masa sulit ekonomi pada saat itu.
Tahun 2015 ini seperti biasa, New York menjadi kota pertama diselenggarakannya Fashion Week dan berlangsung sejak tanggal 12 February sampai 19 February 2015 lalu dan beberapa alumnus dari Next Top Model franchise terlibat dalam perhelatan terbesar fashion ini. Di musim debutnya ini Aamito berjalan untuk 12 show termasuk brand-brand ternama seperti Lacoste, J. Mendel, Tome, Marc by Marc Jacobs dan sebagai opening model untuk Rag & Bone.

Alisar berhasil menancapkan kukunya di NYFW. Walaupun Alisar tidak direpresentasi oleh modeling agency besar, namun dengan keunikan feature dan runway walk nya yang memang memikat, ia berhasil mencetak 13 show (walaupun bukan show kelas A) dan menjadi model NTM franchise dengan show terbanyak di NYFW musim ini.

Katya tetap stabil menjadi model kelas A dengan tampil dalam 8 show besar, dan kali ini Aamito hadir sebagai rising star dan namanya disebut-sebut sebagai salah satu newcomer terbaik dalam NYFW ini dan semoga diikuti dengan kota-kota lainnya... Alisar dan Saara berhasil menjadi model dengan show terbanyak (13 show)...
Really exciting to see new faces at this season, Aamito, Cindy, Vanessa dan Nastya diantaranya.. Tapi sayang sekali kita ga melihat nama-nama top model dari NTM franchise seperti tahun yang lalu seperti Josefin, So Ra, Fatima dan Montana...
Yupp kita lihat siapa yang bersinar pada London Fashion Week FW 2015...
