AsNTM Cycle 2 13th Episode : Kampong Life During Nightfall Finale Photo Shoot

The top 3 girls flew to Kuala Terengganu
for their final week. After arriving at Tanjong Jara Resort, the girls
were greeted by a group of traditional gompang players that lead them to
Nadya in a nearby kampung. Their final photo shoot was revealed to be about the kampong life in expensive high fashion clothes.

Worst of the bunch and i think this is one of her weakest performance in the competition. Again her face was ruin her picture, odd angle for her face and she looks really different... Her pose and body language not helping either... it looks like she forgot how to modeling...

Very pretty and good expression but that's it... The dress make her body looks more thick than usual.. She looks more like an actress than a model...

Best photo... her photo is the only one i can see in the editorial fashion magazine spread... She show her outfit really great and love her mellow expression here...
Great photo for finale shoot and Sheena's look stunning but the other two photos are really not good at all i feel like they are completely sabotaged in a way... bad lighting, set, and outfit...
After the photo Shoot, the girls were back to Kuala Lumpur for their final runway. At the
hotel, they were greeted by the previous eliminated models. Jodilly was
so emotional when she met Sneha and Nicole, so did Sheena when she met
Josephine. For the final runway, they modeled for namely indonesian designer Ghea Panggabean and Albert Andrada.
My thought about Top 3...

She has all the goods to be great models except one thing... Great body, height (yes she is the tallest top 3 girls), great walk, body movement (she is the best poser and not afraid to do different things to get the good shot)... But she has one weak thing about her face... Her face really in odd shape so it's limited her angle that's maybe why she looks bad in certain angle (i think upfront are her weakest) and she has no strong cheekbones to prominent her feature.. She needs to learn more about her face and expression..

She is the most beautiful girl in the house.. But she is indeed one of the weakest girl in the competition, her body is thick (in fashion terms) and too short for modeling... More than half of her performance and photos are elimination worthy but her pretty face saved her every week... Josephine, Marie and Nicole absolutely has stronger portfolio and they were more deserved top 3 than her... Actually i don't hate her but i hate how the judges treat her, they don't like the her photo but why she is always saved from the bottom of the pack. They need to take her in the bottom to wake her up!

Stunning girl who delivers a great and consistent performance in the
whole competition.. But unfortunately she's short (at least for high fashion) and she gives same face in her photos week after week... And yeah she bring her game from beginning of the competition but she never produce an amazing photo like Josephine or Nicole and that's why she is lack of first call out order...

Congrats to Sheena for winning! I'm so happy that my favorite from beginning is the winner! She, Josephine, Jodilly and Nicole are my pre select winner from the start! And at this stage i'm happy that sheena win and not Jodilly because she has more potential to get success in real modeling industry at least in asia... Hopefully she try to expand her work internationally... Once again... Congrats Sheena!!
Finally this cycle over... Honestly, I lost my faith in this season... This season started quite strong, but it finished weak mainly because unjustify elimination and Katarina drag along the competition.. The last episode looks anti climax even no debate or discussion from the judges, they just give their opinion about the finalist.. But Nadya Hutagalung on last episode make me wanna scream! She shut Adam who talk about Jodilly sob stories, she tells that magazine reader doesn't need to know her background story and yeah i don't really care tbh! Tyra need to learn this! LOL...

I will admit that it is very immature to say such things but I will not lie to myself and tell that Sheena must be the winner of AsNTM S2.
The finale was divided into two parts, editorial photoshoot and runway.
Out of the three photos, I really like Katarina's photo the most. Its not thick like what you had said. She had given us the most curves out of the three and you can tell that Sheena, doesn't give curves at all. It was really biased to tell Kat's thick when we keep a blind eye on how sheena had covered her body and made her waist down thick.
Sheena has the best outfit out of the three and the best lighting, which is a beautiful Sunset, and also has the best make-up, which is Black for mourning!!!! She doesnt need to work a lot for this shoot! she has a gold jacket and sunset with her while the others have the retro-ish look. Of course she will sell that jacket. and the sunset will make the lonely part for her! And clearly having the same lipstick color as with the dress your wearing will not be an issue to anyone like what had been accused from the past post. (Blue to blue remember). the jacket was really good and the bangles looks great, but she didn't sell the dress. Her hair was amazing and I expect that the filipinas will have the same styling like her!! But they did not!!!
Katarina has the CHRISTMAS LOOK. really! a green shirt and red gloves. turn the post she's holding into a christmas tree or a giant candy cane and she will have the complete "the girl who didn't recieved any during christmas day" theme! She even had a red lipstick and an 80's hair to complete her christmas retro look.
Jodilly has the worst styling ever! What happened to the stylist! why did they put blue oversized gloves to jodilly's petite hands! And what with the leggings!! The other 2 girls has skirt and what did she got! a black leggings , that does not even fit, and with freaky blue accent! Put the oversized gloves on nadya and let Adam wear the leggings and it will still look Cheap!!! Her face is not bad. for a very dark lighting, she needs to give more because if she will just look like sheena on her photo, it will look like she's sleepy or already sleeping. But still she, didnt forget to give us BUST! Her breast still looks fine even though she has a very lousy outfit. You cant expect her to give a mellow emotion in a setting like that. The setting shouts poverty and war and you want her to have a mellow emotion. Mellow emotion in that place will clearly say acceptance and contentment and not grief and sorrow. even the photographer liked what she had given and had a hard time choosing her photo cause everything was great.
Now, some has issues with Jodilly having brown skin! I will clearly say that i havnt read that here but what the heck!!!! Her skin is classic!!! What does asia want to sell? All of its whitening beauty products and forget the oriental brown and yellow skin tone? To look caucasians and be one of them! I don't agree with that. I think i am an advocate of the DOVE commercial. hehe
Sheena was pampered and styled well and the two filipina was clearly sabotaged.
On the runway. katarina's stiff. She doesn't walk great but its not bad either. Still putting her on the side of jodilly and sheena, she can be easily drowned.
Sheena doesn't even gave a good fight on the run way because Jodilly clearly shows class when she walks!
I can still remember how jodilly had sexilly walk in every look and i can only remember one from sheena. Its with her yellow or gold shortdress that have a triangle looking wings and she looks really stiff on that one. Its one of the strangest walk on the runway that night.

ReplyDeleteDuring judging, I will not forget when Ling, a top model, said that sheena had given different faces in her pictures. Yes, she had given us different faces of Agony, pain and tiredness.
I cant imagine life in Asia if that's what she considered as the face of modern asia! Does she say that life in Asia is hard? Put her agonized face on the malaysian tourism campaign and I will just pray that tourism will boost in malaysia. Does a blond girl with a strong asian features has the face of modern asia? Where's the culture we want to promote if the view of being modern is having colonial menatlity.
I had seen her smile and she's very pretty when she smiles. But I didn't see her smile in her photoshoots. She looks constipated in most of her photos. Except in the tresemme shoot that she became a sleeping beauty. Just an advise for her, learn to smile more because it brings out your true beauty, and not the beauty of an endorcer of loperamide.
In my opinion, it must be Jodilly who should have won the title. She was robbed like Jenna of ANTM 9 and Alisson Harvard of 12 and 17. She had shown as versaltility and she has the most unforgetabble photo of the season in my opinion. Her Jungle photo was astonishing. But i will say this one more time, Sheena has the most unforgetabble constipated look. Sheena must learn how to balance being in pain and being high fashion. She has the face features for editorials but it will be very boring if youll have to see the same look in just different set of themes and clothes.
Season one's winner was really deserving and I will not be shy to say that I will also have a very long rant if Stephanie had won which is an irony considering she's a filipina like the other two. I had read a lot of negative reactions about sheena from the Filipino viewers and I had remembered that they're not this sore loosers when Stephanie had not won. What happened? Is it the filipinos being sore losers or is it the jusges making a mistake on choosing the winner.
Sorry if i may have been very harsh in my opinions but its what i feel and honestly I will feel better if Marie had won over Jodilly but not Sheena winning over Jodilly.
Last words. I will respect the judges decision, but they will not have my support on it. But I guess, I, being a nobody will not affect Sheena's carreer on proving that she really is Asia's next top model. The real battle had only just begun for the three of them, or maybe it had already started three months ago. hehe

agree about last photo shoot... like i said before " Sheena's look stunning but the other two photos are really not good at all i feel like they are completely sabotaged in a way... bad lighting, set, and outfit..." They need to give them same condition... and let them perform in their way...
