AusNTM Cycle 8 6th Episode : Grunge Runaways in the Outback Photoshoot

Episode kali ini dibuka dengan para finalis yang dibawa ke tempat asing bernama Broken Hill. Disana mereka diajarkan Line Dance ala cowboy oleh seorang dancer profesional. Menurut Charlotte hal ini bisa mengajarkan mereka teamwork dan bagaimana menerima arahan dari seorang koreografer.
Challenge : creating a landscape painting in team
Masih di Broken Hill, para finalist dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yang masing-masing terdiri dari 5 orang dan salah satu dari mereka dipilih menjadi live model yang diharuskan untuk menahan pose mereka selama challenge berlangsung. Sedangkan 4 peserta lainnya akan membuat lukisan landscape dengan model mereka sebagai inspirasinya. The most creative team who wins the challenge is
promised a mud facial at a spa in Broken Hill.
Group 1 : Dajana, Jade, Madeline, Shanali, Taylah - Live model : Madeline
Group 2 : Abbie, Ashley, Duckie, Melissa, Shannon - Live model : Melissa
Charlotte and Didier compliment Melissa's resolve during the challenge,
and the fact that she chose standing instead of sitting like Madeline while she was
being painted.
Setelah para peserta menyelesaikan challenge mereka, Ashley memulai paint fight dengan kontestan lainnya. Dia menuang cat ke Dajana bahkan ketika Dajana berusaha menghentikan Ashley karena dia memakai baju pinjaman dari Taylah. Taylah yang ngeliat bajunya kotor

Suasana yang sebelumnya ceria dan akrab diantara para gadis menjadi serius, Taylah & Ashley jatuh ke dalam semak-semak dan Taylah melempar rumput dan debu ke Ashley sampai mereka harus di suruh berhenti oleh Didier. Seeing that she has actually made Taylah angry at her, Ashley
becomes emotional. Dan Ashley menjelaskan kepada Shannon yang berusaha menenangkannya bahwa Taylah kelewatan dan dia ingin pulang saja.
After some time has elapsed, Charlotte and Didier confront the girls and
demand an explanation. Dan setelah penjelasan dari Shannon kepada Didier and Charlotte, Taylah merasa takut incident ini bisa mempengaruhi posisinya dalam kompetisi ini.Challenge nya sendiri tidak diketahui siapa pemenangnya...

Para finalis akan difoto secara berpasangan dan disini mereka berperan sebagai fugitives yang escape ke daerah antah berantah.

Abbie looks amazing and looks like working model... she work her body and the prop well and she outshines Duckie who struggle and fall into the background...

Ashley looks fierce and she get into character very well while Melissa struggle in this photoshoot... Melissa stand front but Ashley steal my attention...

Both look stunning but at the photoshoot Shannon outshined by Dajana. The photographer comment Shannon is the last person he would book for a job. And i agree with the judges that Shannon are critiqued for allowing their partner to take over the shot.

Shanali look so fierce and Taylah really have raw beauty! And i can see this pic as editorial in high end fashion magazine! The photographer believes that Shanali and Taylah have the strongest looks, but that there isn't enough chemistry between them.
When Taylah is called up for her critique, Jennifer explains that due to
the events that had taken place earlier that week, the judges had been
left with no other alternative than to disqualify her for having broken
the rules of the competition. She is asked to say her goodbyes to the
other nine models, and return to the mansion to pack her belongings.

Jadi ini episode yang digadang-gadang oleh AusNTM karena drama nya.. not bad but mmm i hate it!! I love some drama tapi menurut gw kesannya jadi terlalu di dramatisir dan tidak berimbang! its really hard to see Taylah's DQ, she one of my favorite model, great body, tall, strong look and produce amazing photo but Yeah Taylah mungkin pantas di DQ karena udah main fisik tapi komen Didier tentang unprofessional kepada Taylah harusnya juga ditujukan kepada Ashley yang memulai perang cat dan bahkan tetap bermain ketika teman lainnya (Dajana) tidak mau ikut bermain. I hate Ashley personality... well done Ashley, she play her card very well.. She act as a victim, and im not talk about this episode but she play the victim role since episode 2 when she tell the judges about how she feel outcasted by her fellow team in traditional Bangkok market Challenge... Episode ini jadi seperti cara AusNTM untuk menebus kesalahan mereka di musim ke-4 yang membiarkan sikap bullying Demelza dkk kepada Alamela bahkan memilih Demelza sebagai pemenang dan sejak saat itu AusNTM mendapat banyak kritik dan cercaan dari media...
Lagi-lagi para finalis diajarkan hal2 ga berguna dalam fashion! Line Dance?? Dan paling sebel kalo para juri mengharap perkembangan dari para finalis while mereka sendiri tidak pernah mengajarkan fashion kepada mereka... Teaching about how take direction? kenapa tidak dengan cara yang lebih fashionable, misal direction ketika runway atau bagaimana menemukan best angle buat model itu sendiri... grrr...

Taylah deserved to be disqualified. She was arrogant, cocky and has no respect for any of those girls, except Abbie. Abbie I did feel bad for, but the disqualification was the perfect moment and the right perfect time to happen. She said when she was eliminated 2If i could see Ashley now, I would just say to her, that it's not her fault. i did deserve to be disqualified" Taylah is a mole.
