AusNTM Cycle 8 4th Episode : Modern Take On the 50s Housewife Photo Shoot

Episode 4 dibuka oleh Madeline yang merasa akan dieliminasi apabila ia menghasilkan foto yang average lagi setelah sebelumnya masuk ke dalam posisi 2 terbawah. Dan setelah itu para finalis menerima Jen Mail which tells them to not forget their manners. Kemudian mereka dibawa ke Elizabeth Bay House dan menemui Jen. Disana mereka dihidangkan banyak makanan dan langsung aja Ashley, Rhiannon dan Shannon 'kalap'. Rhiannon, Taylah and Abbie are putting on fake British Accents. Shannon is annoyed because thats not 'polite'. Tanpa sepengetahuan mereka, Jen dan hostess June Dally Watkins mengamati cara makan mereka yang tidak beretiket dan akhirnya mengajari mereka beretiket sebagai seorang lady mulai dari table manner, cara berjalan yang anggun dan sikap duduk sempurna. Dan lagi-lagi Rhiannon main2 dalam lesson kali ini.
Challenge : Red Carpet
Sampai dirumah, mereka didatangi oleh Rachael Finch, model ambassador dari Nissan Australia.
She talks to them about the upcoming challenge in which they will have
to attend a red carpet event with paparazzi, the media, and fans of the
show for a premiere screening of Australia's Next Top Model: The Movie at the Ritz Cinema. Rachel meminta mereka agar memiliki sikap yang poised, elegant dan graceful ketika keluar dari mobil saat mereka di acara red carpet.
Alex Perry and Rachael menunggu para finalis di Ritz Cinema bersama media dan para fans. As the cars begin to
drop off the girls, Shanali, Madeline, Brooke, Taylah, Dajana, and
Shannon receive praise for how they handle themselves in the red carpet.
Alex and Rachael tidak suka dengan performance Abbie and Dajana yang lupa nama mobil yang mereka tumpangi (big no no for model ambassador) sedangkan Rhiannon dikritik karena
terlalu sering membungkukukkan bahunya.
Challenge Winner : Shanali, Brooke and Shannon
Hadiah buat yang memenangkan challenge ini adalah shot for a national Nissan
DUALIS commercial bersama Rachel Finch, dan akan menjadi first paid job as a model bagi para finalis.

April is once again critiqued for her lack of variety. Not agree, she has different expression here. She smile with her eyes (or we can call it, SMIZE quotes from the infamous Ms. Tyra Banks). And i think its better than other picture..

Its one of the best photo in my opinion. Her face looks stunning, body looks amazing and she looked like working model. However i agree with ms Jen, she states that although Abbie has the ability to do well, she is
giving off the impression that she is only in the competition for the
ride and not take seriously.

I think its Rhiannon's photo is one a few picture that tell a story... a flirtious, funny 50's housewife. But i agree with the judges, they noticed she doesn't take the challenges and lessons very seriously
Overall, i love this episode just because finally Queen Shanali get more airtime (LOL). Kayaknya ini bisa jadi downfall dari AusNTM, mereka mengambil jalur yang diambil sebelumnya oleh ANTM, lebih mementingkan drama daripada modelling part (yeah i know this is reality show) lesson sebagai lady? come on mereka mendaftar sebagai model not as a pageant queen! belum lagi preview untuk episode selanjutya, tantangan serangga dan uler?? this is AusNTM not Fear Factor!! Untuk photo shootnya lebih baik dari episode sebelumnya, namun kenapa mereka tidak memilih foto yang lebih seragam (ada yang close up, full body dll) dengan foto yang lebih imbang mereka memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk menampilkan performance mereka... How ever i agree with the bottom 2, Abbie n Rhiannon tidak serius dengan kompetisi ini...
