Top Model - Ksenia Kahnovich
Ksenia Kahnovich - Winner of You Are a Supermodel Cycle 1, YAaS is the Russian adaptation of Tyra Banks's America's Next Top Model until it was discontinued after 4 cycles and was revamped in 2011 under the name Top Model po Russki or Russia's Next Top Model. Ksenia was only 17 years old when she won the YAaS in 2004 and managed to beat Alexandra Oleynik who was the jury's favorite from the start of the competition. What was quite surprising when she won was Ksenia refusing the main prize of the modeling contract with NEXT Agency, because she already received a more lucrative offer from IMG Models in the time between the show was taped and the final was aired.
With a beautiful and exotic face (i think she's one of the most beautiful face in NTM franchise) and a tall height (180 cm), Ksenia is one of the successful models from NTM in the modeling industry worldwide. And I think Ksenia has set the level bar too high for Russia's Next Top Model (LOL!) Because since her won, no winner from Russia has been able to succeed at least as much as hers.
Since her move to Paris she has succeeded as a model catalog top designer, editorial model in fashion magazines such as Vogue and Marie Claire and of course in demand as a runway model such as Versace, Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and Dolce and Gabbana in New. York, Paris, and Milan. She has also walked in Haute Couture shows for Elie Saab, Dior, and Lacroix. Seeing the length of the prestigious runway list he has ever done, Ksenia can be said to be the Queen of Runway of all alumni of the NTM franchise.
