Russia's Next Top Model is back for the 5th cycle this October 2014! Yup Top Model po-Russki atau yang lebih dikenal dengan RusNTM kembali hadir di channel You-tv pada 26 October 2014 ini. Vakum selama 2 tahun RusNTM akhirnya kembali hadir setelah melihat kesuksesan Katya Grigorieva, Runner up RusNTM Cycle 4 yang saat ini menjadi pusat perhatian dalam modeling industry setelah tahun pertamanya di fashion week yang mengagumkan...



Ada yang berbeda dengan RusNTM tahun ini, dengan tema International Edition. Why international? because this season features twenty semi-finalists from different nations across the globe, all of whom share common Russian roots. Dan yang paling mengejutkan adalah kehadiran kembali dari Juste runner up Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model Cycle 7 dan Kristine dari Estonia's Next Top Model Cycle 2! I wish they call back Natasha from America's Next Top Model Cycle 8.

Tidak hanya para peserta yang tampil dengan wajah lama namun tetap segar, posisi host juga dipegang oleh wajah yang tak asing lagi, Natasha Stefanenko yang sebelumnya pernah menjadi host untuk Italia's Next Top Model selama 4 cycle dari tahun 2008 sampai 2011. And for the panel judges, this cycle features returning panel members of previous cycles, including season two and three judge Vlad Lisovez, and former host of seasons one through three, Ksenia Sobchak. Sobchak returned as a judge, not as a host. The last seat on the judging panel was given to Denis Simachev..

Sejak pertengahan Oktober lalu, pihak produser sudah merilis web resmi untuk RusNTM cycle 5 dan mereka juga mengupload beberapa foto Top Model House yang nantinya akan dihuni oleh para finalis dan terlihat sangat menarik!





Tidak hanya itu mereka juga mengupload data-data para finalis satu persatu hingga nanti rilis pada 26 Oktober 2014. Dan inilah mereka!

Aleksandra Plaksina

20 yo - 178cm - Chelyabinsk, Russia
Daughter of a military-man, Aleksandra was a bad-girl at school. She says that she has grown up now and will only show her tough character if she feels that someone attacks or bullies weaker one. When she was 13 - she had a tattoo and is afraid that it will limit her chances as a model. She has always loved herself and says that confidence is a key in this business.

Alina Hoven

18 yo - 170cm - Minsk, Belarus 
Born and raised in Minsk, loves his beautiful and hospitable city. At the age of 12-13 years old Alina, armed makeup classmate came to make its appearance more attractive to boys, as she always looked a little unusual because of white skin and red hair. Argues that the loss of at least an inch of hair length will make her feel lost. Therefore promises to cry and leave if stylists encroach on her hairstyle.

 23yo - 170cm - Myrtle Beach, USA 
Alisa was born in Barnaul and moved to USA not long ago that is why she still remembers every street of her hometown. She is studying to be a lawyer cause if modeling doesn't work out for her - she sees law as her passion.Her closest men are her father and her boyfriend - both were afraid for her to come to Russia cause of the unstabe situation in the world. But Alisa is determined and is proud to be Russian.
Anastasia Senchukova

 24 yo - 176cm - Barcelona, Spain
Anastasia was born in Samara, at the age of 13 she moved to Barcelona with her mother and has been living there ever since. Her Spanish friends know that she is Russian cause she doesn't look Spanish and has an accent. People always ask her those stereotypical questions about vodka and bears. Her parents own a shop in Barcelona and didn't want her daughter to be a model or even go on this show. She is a vegetarian and leads a healthy life-style. She wants to test herself how she will cope with living with other girls.


Daria Li

18yo - 174cm - Jerusalem, Israel
Mom - Russian father - Korean. Born in Lviv. For family reasons moved with her ​​mother and grandmother in Israel, then - to Moscow, then back to Israel. Dasha remembers that her family was thrown from one extreme to another - from poverty to prosperity. It was not easy, but this experience really helps a girl for life. Daria - the prototype model of this season. Even as a child she advertised clothes, shooting for in directories and marching down the runway. Later participated in several beauty contests and five-month Israeli modeling reality show, which has made it popular in this country. The only thing that scares her to the project - a clash of female characters after you check into the house models. On the other hand, Dasha said that she was interested in girls from other countries, and speak in Russian is very nice!


Elena Saratceva

20yo - 170cm - Kabinda, Angola
Her mother is Russian and her father is African. She was born in Voronezh and then moved to Angola. She says people there are way friendlier than Russian and it was just a pleasure living there.Elena can get eat anything she wants and won't get fat. Her favorite part of her body is her stomach.She managed to become confident as the years passed -so she is ready for RusNTM!

Evgenia Nekrasova

21 yo - 176cm - Kemerovo, Russia
Evegnia tried out for the second time for the show. First time, on season 4 she made it to the semi-final casting but she was told that while having great modeling face she needs to loose weight. Now she lost 13 kgs and is finally on her way to become top-model. Evgenia likes being critiqued but this critique should be constructive and not just to put her down or insult.

Justė Juozapaitytė
24yo - 183cm - London, UK
Juste's grandmother Zinaida at the time of the war moved from Perm' into Lithuania but still taught Juste Russian language. Juste has never been to Russia before and it will be a great surprise for her friends to see her there. She came in second place on the British version of the show and therefore she knows how to compete. She says that overs think that she is already a top-model and knows everything but in reality she still has to overcome some fears.

27yo - 175cm - Tallin, Estonia
Kristina is a hard-worker and determined to take a prize here.
She is not here to make friends cause she knows how bitchy the girls really can be.


Maria Shapovalova
 21yo - 180cm - Ontario, Canada
Maria was born in Moscow but year later her family moved to Canada and has lived there ever since. She is in Russia for the first time and wants to enjoy every minute of her staying there. Maria's whole family consists of professional dancers - that is why she has been doing ballet for many years but she had to drop out cause she was too tall for it. RusNTM is her first modeling experience and she hopes that it will take her far.
Oksana Kavali 

 25 yo - 185cm - St.Peterburg, Russia
Oksana - the girl with character. She is quick-tempered, confident, loves the thrill and does not like discomfort. She has participated in a reality show, so imagine how it would be difficult to get along in the same house with a crowd of opponents. Oksana parents, very pleased her to go to the project because they believe it is a good way to show themselves and their capabilities. However, she relates to modeling as a pleasant hobby - not as serious as the other contestants.
Olga Afonina
21yo - 172cm - Moscow, Russia
Olya absolutely no modeling experience, she - the same raw clay from which you can sculpt anything. So about changes in appearance, through which the project will have to go on, she said simply: "Yes please, do with me whatever you think is necessary!"  Although she admits that now is not in the best physical shape, adds that eats whatever she wants, not involved in sports, but still has a model physique. Olya says of herself: "I am not beautiful, I - a girl with a twist", and recalls how her childhood did not like her nose, or, for example, the ears, but it is supposedly as at all. Olya- very conflict-free, the project went on, in particular, to make friends with new people. Therefore, claims that swear with my roommate, it will not.

Sofia Shum
19yo - 180cm - Tver, Russia
Sofia is a holder of a master's degree in math. She says it is a really great way to get a job if modeling won't work out for her.She doesn't have a big experience in modeling cause she only started it last year. She has a very big family consisting of four brothers and one little sister. She says that she can't quite rate herself.


Tatiana Rumianceva
 23yo - 178cm - Smolensk, Russia
Tatiana is already a mother. Her daughter is 3 years old and she already wants to model as well.Tatiana works as a model from time to time in her hometown. When she was a kid - she was quite shy and reserved cause she didn't like her ears. 
 Really excited to see it happen... I hope Juste and Kristine goes far especially Juste whose so beautiful and gorgeous in BiNTM... And i wish this show produce stunning model again who can reach international success like Katya Grigorieva!
