AusNTM Cycle 8 2nd Episode : Lost Travelers Photo Shoot

Seperti yang udah diumumin pada episode sebelumnya, top 15 finalists berangkat ke Bangkok, Thailand. Disana mereka bakal nginep di Hotel Muse, salah satu luxury hotel di Bangkok. That morning the girls receive their first Jen Mail which tells them to 'open the window to their soul'.
Di hari yang sama, para finalis dibawa ke Thai Temple dan bertemu Charlotte. She tells them that they will have to let their beauty
shine from the inside. Kemudian salah satu biksu disana mengajarkan mereka tentang konsep Buddhism dan pentingnya sikap respek terhadap orang tua. Dia juga mengajarkan bagaimana cara bermeditasi (LOL at Dajana who fall asleep during meditation).
Afterwards, the models are taken outside to practice what they have
learned. Some of the girls become annoyed when Rhiannon fails to take
the lesson more seriously (She giggles and make some noise to annoy other girls, trying to be funny but failed!).
Challenge : styling challenge with their muse
Tantangan kali ini, the girls dibagi ke dalam 3 kelompok dan diharuskan memilih satu model yang menjadi inspirasi mereka untuk didandanin dengan aksesoris yang mereka beli sendiri dari local market.
Team A : April (muse), Dajana, Duckie, Madeline & Shanali.

Setelah waktu berbelanja habis, all the models kembali ke Hotel dan berkumpul untuk mempresentasikan hasil final mereka kepada juri, Charlotte and Didier. April goes first, and both of
the judges are pleased with the result. April looks beautiful with her elegant attitude that match the themed. Kemudian giliran Abbie, walaupun Charlotte senang dengan hasil team B tapi dia dan Didier tidak suka dengan kelakuan Abbie (she laughing while she presenting to the judges) dan menganggap sikap Abbie disrespectful dan tidak serius. Terakhir Jade yang dinilai oleh juri, both of the judges
dislike the shoes that were chosen for Jade dan Ashley mengakui kepada juri bahwa dia ngerasa sebagai outcast oleh team nya sendiri mungkin karena mereka belum mengenal satu sama lain and later in confession, Rhiannon menganggap harusnya Ashley ngomongin ini kepada team bukan kepada juri dan di depan team lainnya.
Challenge Winner : Team A (April, Dajana, Duckie, Madeline & Shanali.)
They get manicure and pedicure at the pool for the prizes.

For the photo shoot, the models are photographed as rich Thai travelers lost in the countryside.

Flawless! She did really well this week. Her face really mysterious and had story in it... The judges compare her to Kristen Stewart but more expression imo (of course she is LOL). Love April!

The Judges praise her for this photo... I dont get it, yeah she looks beautiful and great body but not stand out. Tapi seenggaknya Brooke berhasil buktiin dia bukan sekedar commercial model di foto ini.

Secara personality Abbie mungkin sedikit annoying.. But she really beautiful and fresh when she has her hair up. She totally
looks like the model with amazing skills and potential that she actually
is. Her photo looks great, lean and tall body and the photographer loved her too. One of my favorite this week :)
Don't like her expression here and she was such a whiny little bitch on set. Taylor complains about the heat and having to wait for hours on end for her turn to shoot. Miss Diva alert!
Madeline battle with her confidence and it looks in her face in this photo. Awkward and uninspiring...
Her frown mouth look matched the lost travellers themed (LOL). Nice picture but hate her in this episode. I hated how disrespectful she was. Maybe she not wanting to participate in meditation because of not being religious, but laughing at the monk walking by and how different he and the other monks looked is definitely disrespectful.
One of my favorite.. gorgeous face and banging legs.. So underrated by judges :(
Great body but she need to practice more and learn her angle... Her face looking uncomfortable.
Its hard time for Chanique and the photographer struggles most with her, who cries after the shoot. Her unique beauty not transformed well in front of the camera. She looks unsure and confused.

Overall, its entertaining episode and kita bisa lebih mengenal beberapa finalis dan personality mereka. Photoshoot kali ini menurut gw kurang yah untuk sekelas AusNTM apalagi mengingat first photoshoot dari cycle 6 (Mad Men) atau cycle 7 (Parisian Couture) yang jauh lebih editorial. I do believe they could've utilised more of the farms and landscape though. WTF at the call out order?? and Chanique elimination? Gw bakal lebih memilih Chanique daripada mereka yang disrespectful (Rhiannon) atau Taylor (whiny complaining diva).
