Top Model - Luisa Hartema
Luisa Hartema - Winner of Germany's Next Top Model cycle 7. The blonde girl from East Frisian was drawn to the big fashion metropolis, New York. Since then, the hard working has been commuting between the city that never sleeps and her sleepy home in East Frisia. Luisa Hartema grew up in the tranquil north-west of Lower Saxony. And "big" is to be taken literally, because with its 1.78 meters it has the dimensions of a catwalk that bring tears of joy to the eyes of the model agencies. So it's not surprising that she was able to clear most of the orders at Germany's Next Top Model.
In 2012, Hartema took part in the seventh season of ProSieben's Germany's Next Topmodel, presented by Heidi Klum, which 15,700 candidates applied for. She quickly became a stand-out candidate for her modeling potential, which was praised by the judges as well as by all the clients that appeared in the show, but her lack of self-confidence was criticized by the judges at the same time. Throughout the show, Hartema was picked for seven jobs in total, which makes her the candidate with the most booked jobs in the history of all Germany's Next Topmodel seasons.
She won the competition in the live finale on 7 June 2012 at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, beating Sarah-Anessa Hitzschke, Dominique Miller and Kasia Lenhardt. As her prizes for winning, she received a cover of German Cosmopolitan, a temporary apartment stay in a fashion metropolis of her choice, campaigns with Emmi Caffè Latte, Maybelline Jade and Zalando, and a contract with OneEins Management. Despite some (unjustified) fears of her followers that Luisa Hartema would not be able to exploit her full potential with a model contract with the OneEins Management agency, the beautiful East Frisian had only good things to say about Germany's Next Top Model boss. She especially loved how the team nurtured the self-confidence of the future models. And thanks to the contract with “ONEeins Management”, she was able to book her first jobs shortly after the show's finale.
Now Luisa is in demand worldwide, she has since been signed with Munich Models and IMG Models in Australia. . In 2013, she was featured in Elle and Harper's Bazaar. In 2014, she worked for ASOS.com and Escada. She currently lives in New York City. Hopefully she'll be more successful in the future because she has whatever it takes.
