Following the airing of the show's third episode, 22 year-old contestant Chamia Chimedtseren from Ulaanbaatar was found dead after allegedly suffering a fall from a height of several stories. An investigation surrounding the nature of her death was launched immediately afterward, which led to the postponing of the season after that episode

Congrats to Anujin for winning.. Such a strong top 5 all the girls have amazing potential and have a great chance to win this competition... Anujin was not my preselect winner (R.I.P. sweet Chamia is) but she catch my attention in beauty shot in water photo shoot... She's so stunning! I think she has great international potential with her unconventional beauty, amazing body, modeling skill and solid portfolio... Now i hope Cerendolgor and all the models get serious in their modeling career and jump in industry right away! Again Congrats Ms. Anujin!

A memorial service was held for the deceased contestant, whose family also received a posthumous award and cash prize on Chimedtseren's behalf for her efforts in the competition
