The Fiercest Show in Holland is Back This August!
Holland's Next Top Model (HNTM) kembali ke layar TV dengan cycle ke-9 pada 30 Agustus 2016 ini dan ditayangkan oleh channel RTL5. HNTM merupakan salah satu show Next Top Model Show franchise yang terbilang sukses dengan menemukan calon-calon top model berbakat dan photo-photo yang stunning, namun sayang setelah cycle 5 sepertinya kualitas HNTM semakin menurun mulai dari photo shoot yang kurang menginspirasi, makeover yang gagal total sampai pemenang yang kurang tepat (in my opinion). Setelah kemenangan Loiza Lamers tahun lalu, HNTM akan kembali mencari bakat-bakat baru dalam dunia modeling dan mengharapkan menemukan kisah sukses seperti yang sebelumnya pernah dirasakan oleh Patricia Van Der Vliet dari cycle 3 ataupun Tamara Weijenberg pada cycle 5. Sayang sekali sampai saat ini belum ada lagi penerus yang mampu setidaknya menyamai kesuksesan mereka.

HNTM sendiri menggunakan format standar ANTM, yaitu setiap minggu nya bakal ada satu peserta tereliminasi namun untuk season finale, HNTM menggunakan format live seperti format yang digunakan oleh AusNTM. The three remaining contestants compete in a runway show in front of the judges and a live audience. After the runway show, the judges and the public voters may vote on their favourite contestant and the results will declare a winner.
Sama seperti cycle 8 sebelumnya, Anouk Smoulders kembali menjadi host serta judge dan ditemani oleh new judges, Fashion Blogger, Anna Noushin dan juga oleh Fashion Photographer, Alek Buessing. Stylist yang juga menjadi coach para model, Fred Van Leer, kali ini juga akan duduk sebagai juri. Baru saja website resmi HNTM merilis 12 finalis yang akan berkompetisi. Dan inilah mereka!
Akke Marije Marinus
Akke Marije is a farmergirl from Friesland. This 20-year old beauty just finished HAVO together with a study to become a sports masseur. In september, she's going to start the study HBO nurse. Next to that, you can find Akke Marije on the soccer field, or in the church, where she gives crafting class to young children. Her big dream? Walking the Victoria's Secret show.
Ann-Wytske Hoekstra
The 20 years old Anne-Wytske from Renkum has only one dream: become the winner of HNTM. She already had enough setbacks in her life: in high school she got lyme disease and pfeiffer. It took more than 6 years until she recovered from it. Now she wants to become a model and travel the whole world.
Arantxa Oosterwolde
Arantxa from Culemborg is a lady with a strong personality: something that's very important to make it as a model in 2016! She knows what she wants and says what she thinks. Now she finished high school on HAVO she wants to start the study HBO law to, next to her big dream to become a model, become a top lawyer.
Cherie Fransen
The 22 years old Cherie from Brabant is the oldest contestant of the year. The happy Cherie with gorgeous curls has some experience in the showbizz and will use this when participating HNTM. Cherie really wants to become famous and with that as her purpose she will do everything to become HNTM.
Collete Kanza
The snappy Colette from Rotterdam has learned to stand on her own two feet: her parents are living in Paris! Colette works at a venue, where she also likes to dance herself. Colette isn't participating HNTM to make friends, but to become the first dark tinted girl to win the show. Her strong personality, opinion and power makes Colette ready to fight for the title Holland's Next Top Model.
Denise Bon
Denise is a HNTM fan since the first season. After following the show on tv, she thinks it's time for herself to fight for the title. Denise works as spareribs delivery and she is a fan of hardcore music.
Emma Hagers
With her nose piercing and her strong "Rotterdams accent", Emma stands out in the group. She hopes that the other girls are 'flex' and that there will be no mutual bull****. Emma finished the study Graphic Design and she already did some modeling to get some experience. Now by participating HNTM she really wants to break through!
Lena Damen
Lena grew up in the cozy Veldhoven and follows the study ground stewardess. She has no modeling experience and that makes it exciting for her to participate HNTM. She hopes to stand out with her full lips and big eyes to become Holland's Next Top Model.
Lyanne Bierings
The 19 years old Lyanne knows what working hard is: for years she works on the market to sell fruits and vegatables. At that job, she was scouted by an modeling agency where she did different jobs for. Lyanne sees HNTM as a chance to make her dream a full-time job.
Noor Van Velzen
With her 16 years old is Noor the youngest girl from the group. She was scouted by different agencies when she was younger, but she has more ambition: she wants to study Psychology and Technology in Eindhoven. But first she wants to enjoy HNTM.
Nynke Bakker
Nynke is a 19 year old girl from Voorthuizen who studies Sport and Movement education. She also has a fashion-, beauty- and lifestyleblog. She did some little modeling jobs for a clothing store nearby, but by participating HNTM she wants to take that carreer to a next level.
Sarah Liebregts
Sarah from Brabant follows the study Specific Audiences in Eindhoven, because she thinks it's important to make her contribution to the society. Last year, she ended high in the Wildcard Competition, but didn't make the cast. Now she did some modeling jobs she knows: it's her moment to shine.
Wow! Stunning batch of girls! Love the cast, the diversity (AusNTM need learn from HNTM) and this promo shots slays! Looks promising but i won't let my hopes out because HNTM got me disappointed cycle after cycle.. Anne, Collete, Denise & Emma are my favorite from this promo shoot!
