Julia Oleynik - 4th place of You are a Supermodel Cycle 1. The babyface with red hair girl who become Jean Paul Gaultier's muse. YAaS itself is the Russian adaptation of Tyra Banks's America's Next Top Model until it was discontinued after 4 cycles and was revamped in 2011 under the name Top Model po Russki or Russia's Next Top Model. Julia had big potential to win the competition, she the youngest one with russian beauty but unfirtunately Ksenia was stronger and Julia still to inexperience the first cycle.
Julia and her family comes from Samara, Russia. Her family was really closeand attach each other and comes from cultural family, and she's really love her family. Their the ones who support her to try You are a Supermodel casting when she's a teenager.
Her journey in the competition is kinda great, she's never get in bottom two and even when she'll get eliminated in episode 10, the judges saved her. They believed her performance along the competition and modelesque potential still can save her position. After Yaas, she's start to build her portfolio locally and internationally. She appeared in some high fashion magazine like L'Officiel Russia, French Revue De Modes, Glamour Italia, Marie Claire Greece, Cosmopolitan UK, Elle Germany. But her breakthrough is she become the muse for big designer Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris fashion week. Not only him, Julia walk for some top designer, Hermes and Alexis Mabille.
Now she's kinda rest from modeling world but i believe she'll comeback someday and more bigger than now. Amen!
