Danielle Hayes - Winner of New Zealand's Next Top Model cycle 2. The most-striking girl with unique and high fashion quality. Danielle grew up in a small town called Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty and she's one of five children in her family. She attended school in Kawerau and Whakatane before heading off to university in Hamilton. After realizing university wasn’t her cup of tea she moved to Wellington to pursue a career in hospitality. It was there while living in the capital she then decided to audition for NZNTM on a whim however; it was more of a dare from her close friends and classmates from Bartending School. Of which she didn’t succeed in becoming a bartender as her life changed from that audition on.

She's audition and joined New Zealand's Next Top Model cycle 2 in 2010. And yeah with her uniqueness striking feature, creativity, passion and down-to-earth character make her fans's favorite. I know she will take the title from the beginning! The prize for this season are a contract with 62 Model Management, 1-year contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, an 8-page editorial in CLEO Magazine, an all expenses paid trip to Sydney to meet with Ursula Hufnagl of Chic Model Management, a trip to Los Angeles to meet with Alexis Borges of NEXT Model Management, and a brand new Ford FiestaAfter the competition, Danielle modeling locally and seeking a fresh start, she moved overseas to find modelling work, she managed to signed with model agency like One Management in New York, Kismet Management in LA, D Management in Cape Town, IZAIO in Berlin, and CITY MODELS in Paris.

She has modeled for Zoe and Morgan Jewellery, Glamuzina Jewellery and Te Rongo Kirkwood Jewellery and appeared at the New Zealand Fashion Festival (modelling for Annah Stretton, Ricochet, Vanilla Ink, Tanya Carlson and Matchi Motchi). Hayes was also seen at the Fashion For Relief Runway Show in Christchurch. And her peak her carees is in 2014, Danielle was invited to model for Jean Paul Gaultier at the Paris Fashion Show.

Unfortunately  in 2013 Danielle recalled the traumatic experience. She attacked by some stranger and try to raped her but her courageous Danielle fought off the attacker with everything she had. Thanks to her father who teach her Taekwondo for 10 years. That tragedy make her traumatic and change her life. Now she retired from modeling and fashion industry and she's back to New Zealand and work for charity. She's still Danielle with creative passion who we know from New Zealand's Next Top Model..
