Top Model - Alice Burdeu

Alice Burdeu - Winner of Australia's Next Top Model Cycle 3 which took place in 2007. It's time for us to present one of the legends in the NTM franchise who is famous for her bright red hair, yup why legend? because thanks to Alice's success in the real modeling industry, it was the one that succeeded in bringing the NTM franchise name to a better and less underestimated and of course because of her name AusNTM was named one of the best NTM adaptations ever (at least before the flop cycle 8 yes).

Before joining AusNTM, Ms. Burdeu works as a Customer Service Trainee at the telecommunications company, Telstra. At the age of 18 she ventured to register and audition for AusNTM. With her height, looks, and runway walk, she garnered praise from the judges, especially Alex Perry, however her low body mass index was a source of great concern for the judging panel. Burdeu ran smoothly during the competition, she was criticized by a fashion photographer and also one of the judges from AusNTM, Jez Smith for one look wonder in some of her photos. In a live finale broadcast on 5 June 2007, Burdeu was named winner of the cycle based on votes cast by the judges and by Australia's Next Top Model viewers. With her victory, Ms. Burdeu's won a 1-year contract with Priscilla's Model Management, a contract as a model ambassador from Napoleon Perdis Cosmetic for Australia and New Zealand, 8 fashion editorial pages in Vogue Australia magazine, a trip to New York, and a Ford Fiesta XR4.. In addition to the guaranteed eight-page editorial, Vogue Australia featured Burdeu on the cover of the magazine — an honor that has not been bestowed on any other Australia's Next Top Model winner. It can be said that Alice Burdeu is a proud star of AusNTM. She even served as a guest judge on one of the AusNTM cycle 5 episodes in 2009.

After winning AusNTM, Alice is a best-selling model for local Australia such as the ad campaign for Green With Envy and appeared in several local magazines, she also had time to try her luck in Singapore. During her prize vacation to New York, Burdeu was signed by Elite Model Management, who helped her secure jobs in the Fall / Winter 2008 New York Fashion Week shows of designers including Proenza Schouler, Marchesa, and Marc Jacobs. And thanks to her brilliant debut, Alice was included in the Top 10 Newcomers of Fall 2008 list and is also known as one of the rising stars of the high-fashion world by Style.com. Of course with that title Alice received many offers ranging from being covers in magazines, featured in fashion editorials for Women's Wear Daily, Velvet, Elle UK, Marie Claire Italy, and Numéro Korea. In addition, Burdeu also managed to get contracts for campaigns for D&G, Sonia Rykiel, Napoleon Perdis, Mimco and Blumarine.

Even though she was off from the modeling industry in 2008 (and made her not walk at Fashion Week 2009) to complete her studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology majoring in Psycologhy, she did not stop her career, she returned in 2010 and once again repeated the success he had ever achieved.

Currently, unfortunately, Alice is no longer actively modeling in fashion capital cities such as New York, Paris and Milan, but she is still in demand as a model in Australia. Whatever makes you happy dear Alice!
